They will all work across a WAN.
The question is whether or not your WAN is up to the task, and that
will depend on the volume of logs generated vs. your other traffic,
and how reliable your WAN is.
Erik's suggestion is reasonable, but if you have a syslog server at
one site already, you should
you could throw a free (kiwi?) syslog at each site to benchmark log data
size, and that could help you determine if it's ok to cross the WAN or not.
