The Whistling Ducks were still present when I arrived at 8:20 tonight; however, shortly thereafter, they picked up and flew low over the marinas and residential area immediately to the west. For those looking to chase the birds early tomorrow, I think it is still worth visiting Cow Meadow.

I am happy to report that the 5 Black-bellied Whisting-Ducks are still present. Flew in from NJ side at 7:40 AM and landed in empoundment on N side of Oil City Road, on right hand side of northbound trail/road. Currently hidden in vegetation. Angus Wilson, New York City & The Springs, NY

NYSbirders, Five Black-bellied Whistling-Ducks were found this morning at the east end of Oneida Lake in Brewerton. Bill Purcell got the word out (thanks Bill!), and a number of birders were able to view the ducks sitting on a dock at these coordinates: 43.236545,-76.134656 The ducks reportedly
