While engaged in trail clearing efforts on the southend of the East Pond at
Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge (JBWR), I noticed a small flock of Ibis’ dropping
in and decided to fetch my bins for a look as one looked “sus.”
Sure enough, the suspect turned out to be a White-faced Ibis
