Went to the west side of Jamaica Bay with Mike Zito- over the marsh saw a Gull Billed Tern, Little Blue Heron. By the breach saw dozens of Laughing Gulls feeding on freshly laid horseshoe crab eggs. In the South Garden saw a Black Throated Green Warbler, House Wrens, Green Eyed Vireos, Pewee, Willow Flycatcher and calling Yellow Billed Cuckoo. SANDPIPER, LEAST SANDPIPER, and abundant DUNLINS. Shorebirds also in the Town of Amherst - five SEMIPALM. SANDPIPERS on Ridge Lea Road off North Bailey Avenue. From Chautauqua County, 11 warbler species at Boutwell Hill State Forest in the Town of Cherry Creek. Including LA. WATERTHRUSH and CERULEAN WARBLER, plus OVENBIRD, BLUE-WINGED WARBLER, MOURNING WARBLER, COMMON YELLOWTHROAT, HOODED WARBLER, AMERICAN REDSTART, BLACKBURNIAN WARBLER, YELLOW WARBLER and CHESTNUT-S.
