The Golden Eagle season is underway at the Franklin Mt. Hawkwatch near Oneonta.  Three goldens were counted today, bringing this year's total to six.  274 Red-tailed Hawks and 14 Bald Eagles also passed the lookout today. Franklin Mt. has averaged around 180 Golden Eagles annually for the past

The Golden Eagle season is underway at the Franklin Mt. Hawkwatch near Oneonta.  Three goldens were counted today, bringing this year's total to six.  274 Red-tailed Hawks and 14 Bald Eagles also passed the lookout today. Franklin Mt. has averaged around 180 Golden Eagles annually for the past
