Both Mississippi Kites put on quite a show this afternoon at Sterling Forest Nature Center. There was also a singing Cerulean Warbler a little down the road at the Laurel Pond (?) parking area. Bald Eagle and Raven were seen from the bridge at Narrowsburg in Sullivan Co early this AM.

Yesterday (Th. 5-31-12), the male did show up in the morning and in the afternoon. Apparently, the female has not been seen in the past couple of days and people suspect that she may be in the nest. BTW, the best time to see the bird (based on the behavior of the male Kite) is early in the
