While not exactly hopping, there were clearly more migrants at Alley Pond park
today than on my 2 previous jaunts this fall season. I saw 8 species of warbler
including Canada, BT green and a remarkable 7 chestnut-sided warblers in
various locations within the park. But the highlight was a
The Top 10 locations (including sublocations) for the counties of Erie and
Westchester have been revisited. For Erie the four hotspots that make up
'Unity Island (aka Squaw Island)' have replaced 'Chestnut Ridge Park'. The
latter page has changed slightly and is similar to the Top 10 pages except
10-15 Common Nighthawks feeding this evening across from the Kimisis Tis
Theotokou Church, St Andrew Rd, Southampton, just south of Sr27/CR 39.
