On Road Bike Review, Sling Shot's triathalon bike is given a good review, the only
criticism was the weight:

I used the bridge last week in the morning and encountered 3 other cyclists
using the Northbound lane to go South. Normally when I encounter a person
on a bike riding toward me, I inform them in no uncertain terms where they
belong. But in this case, since there were 2 of them together and the
Racer usually don't race in the dark so this law doesn't apply to them. If
they do ride their non-reflective machines in the dark, they risk a fine.
Although the police is already quite happy when bikes have working lights
and a rear reflector. So they don't enforce the side reflection too
The only way side reflector factor into it is if you are standing still
in the middle of the road.
When crossing an intersection a motor vehicle head light will not reflect
light from side reflectors until it is too late!!!
