Scott, Joe's right. It's not that hard. Follow the advice in the book and the instructions that come with the carb kit. Pay strict attention to detail. You can buy a 1-2 gallon pail of carb cleaner to soak the disassembled carb in. The cleaner washes off with water. Then, use compressed air

Rebuilding carburetors is one of my least favorite activities. I have done about 10 of them, some with very good and some with mixed results. If it were for a collector's car, I'd gladly pay Sparky and have a unit that's like brand new. Also note what a rebuilt unit at the parts store will cost
