What a terrible show. I would have been in tears too, if they would have
done this to my car - no tears of joy though. This build would have had a
better place in "pimp my ride". The chevy engine was used because GM
performance is a sponsor, no doubt. Couldn't they at least put a bigger

Shouldn't the last 6 digit of the body tag match the VIN number?
Doesn't the Oldsmobile script above the 442 on the fender look factory

No such thing unless it was a 69 HurstOlds,
69 442s had 400ci. Not until 70 to get a 455.

I was out at the local Costco store tonight and noticed they had an 18 volt
impact driver/drill kit on sale for $69.00.
They are advertised as having 5 times more torque than a regular cordless
drill.

VERY gracious. Thankful to have the error pointed out.
I was as tactful as I can be with "62 Toronado? Are you on dope?"

My 79 has little plastic holders that the baseless bulbs snap

are very unreliable at this point, hence the jumper wires

TJ is perfectly correct.
There's and old and new OEM designs plus aftermarket parts variences. The
exact same thing happens on A-body brake drums. I've got 2 or 3 styles of
used ones that are still usable sitting on the shelf.

Old and new (or after market) design differences. Also non flared is
most likely an after market part. I ran into that a lot when I sold after market
parts (Raybestos, Wagner etc.), people would bring the new part back with the
old one to compare them to be sure.
