Alain: I expected that this would be the case. But
perhaps it is not so much Java that is interesting, as
it is its underlying concepts e.g. the Virtual Machine
that can run anywhere securely. Would it be possible
to implement these concepts into OpenKard, without a
single drop of Java? Does such
everything but being a VB and REALBasic programmer i know of a lot of
people who totally swear by BASIC and would laugh at xtalk in much the same
way that C programmers find them laughable.
It is far more widley known and still fairly easy. Its really a matter of
preference and past experionce.
