Hey Guys, its the Noob again. lol
As you all know I'm an XP guy, attapting to OpenSolairs, so far its been great,
a couple hickups that you'veset me in the correct directions, but i still am
loving it.
A Think which I've got used to on XP is the extended Desktop funtion.
I am using a laptop,
nevermind --- that helped me figure out what was wrong.
It wasn't the read only embulum --that light gray ... this was a soldid
(glossy) black box with a white padlock in.
Afte rfinding permissions that you led me to i sorted it out

Again you have to use your administrator privileges
and run a command
with the pfexec prefix
pfexec rm /export/home/matt/.Trash/C00122.JPG
See, this is not Windows and here we are strict about
who can do what... ;-)

Remember, in Unix file names are case sensitive.
Maybe you wrote
something wrong.
I made sure i used all the correct cases.
An yeah, I'm sure terminals fine ... it must be somthing in the folders and
files

but you see -- i used package manger -- nothing .. it didn't install.
I went to the OpenOffice website and FAQ and it told me i need to move it to a
folder .. i tried -but it wouldn't give me access saying i need to have admin
status!

I do have one other question, hope you don't mind:
I copied some files from my memory-pen (some were folders), half of these
folder had this lock in the top corner. I copied the content into new folders
and deleted the 'locked' folders, but
