Der fehlende Treiber für virtuelle Netzwerkkarten wird im nächsten
base-Update wieder mit enthalten sein.

It seems to be a network or a firewall problem.
What operating system do you use for the openthinclient-server?
Did you install it in a windows environment, if yes, deactivate the windows
firewall.
Or do you use the virtual appliance?
The network interface must run in bridge-mode.

As I wrote:
I have OTC-Appliance-Pales under Esxi 6 running. VM appliance got IP address
from
DHCP server, and the client trying to boot also dows get IP addres from my
DHCP server. Both addresses are on the same subnet (172.16.1.50 and
172.16.1.52) So there is no problem with network settings.
Please have a look in the server log to find out more information.
