Paul, Your correct. I'm very interested in Tcl itself on the WRT54 platform, preferably the OpenWRT dist. There's only a few interpreters available right now. PHP is ported, but it's a little heavy for generic applications, and so is something called LUA, that I'm not familiar with. I've

I have never seen any tcl-packages for the OpenWRT distribution either. TCL is a pretty big application, and I doubt it will fit in the flash-eprom after successfully compiling it. I would advice you to learn some more about scripting in sh/ash/bash instead. You will probably be able to do most

I don't have a problem using bash/ash, but there are certain things that standard shells just don't do well, ie; file/socket I/O to start with. Got spoiled to the string handling, array management, and file I/O routines in Tcl, and just was hoping someone had compiled a statically linked binary
