Have you used document encryption for libraries within SP 2007.3
Just met a client who wants documents in sub-site to be extra secure.
They are using SP 2007, Enterprise Edition
Any procs/cons/ suggestions etc will be welcome

Hi,
If the customer has SQL Enterprise you could use Transparent Data
Encryptionhttp://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb934049.aspx (TDE) which
protects the database itself. Another option is AD RMS, while it does not
encrypt documents in the document library itself, if the documents are
OK. I have decided to do this as a simple web part which can then be
added to a lists's DispForm as needed.
Everything builds and deploys but when trying to add the web part to
the form view I get:
Unable to add web part(s): Object reference not set to an instance of
an object.
That's it.
