When they clocked out for the Christmas holidays, Quantegy employees
planned on returning to work, as scheduled, Monday. But, there's no job to
go back to - for some 250 employees.

Wow!
I got the latest upgrade to Easy CDDA Extractor and, boy, to me, it sounds or
looks nothing like the old version. I can only see a couple of tabs; I cannot
find a playlist or list of tracts on the disk; I cannot tell where to set up
the online database; I cannot even find out how to
I've got to wonder what the value add of such a one word reply is even if
the original note was attached. I've got to admit, I'd just as soon not
see it. ditto on the request for files as well. I'm not sure why such
requests cannot be taken off list and sent directly to the sender. I'm

Hi,
I don't even bother with the drag and drop. I just go to my
computer, find the file I'd like to add to a cd, right click on it, or
press application or context key. This gives you a menu, and if its an
audio file, one of the choices is burn to a cd using ez cd
extractor.

Hi all and a happy new year.
Can anyone advise me of the correct Volume Control Volume and Line-in Volume
please. I cannot remember the original percentages, so for line-in purposes
would 40% seem right.

PC-Audio List Help,
Hi Kathy.
I use Goldwave and there are marvellous scripts and a jaws Tutorial
available to go with it. In the UK, Goldwave costs about £20. Don't know
what that is in $'s, but the program is fantastic. Visit Goldwave at:

Best wishes.

I am using the Victor Classic plus with firmware upgrade 2.3.56, and have no
difficulty playing 32K bit mono files. In fact, as I stated before, I've
even played 24K files.

So as I understand it, the only way to record from line-in is to have it
unmuted in the playback options. Am I correct?

Peter! To my knowledge, and I just checked, Tascam does not currently
market a cassette Recorder or Player that operates at 15/16 Inches Per

that did and it was an early Porta Studio.

Hi all,
When trying to listen to a broadcast from a shoutcast server, is WinAmp the
only player you can use? Or can you use Windows Media Player?
Thanks,

I am assuming that by numbers you mean the actual address of the stream?

Yes that's one way to do it. Some sites also use regular addresses but
usually they are like http://70.84.33.234:8000 and if you click on that it

Hi Jerry,
For everybody's information
a bunch of Marantz portables, such as the 220 etc. did offer
15/16ips along with 1 7/8ips. They were however only two track machines.
You can still occasionally find these machines on Ebay.

Hello Josh and others,
That's not a stupid question at all.
I do have a scanner, and I have Kurzweil version 9.
However, this manual isn't a booklet, like most are. Instead, it's a large
piece of paper that's folded in half, and then one of the insides is folded
inward.
I've tried scanning it
Hello, I think that what you have to do is to hit 0 when you first pull up
the program. This gets you the record box. Just escape out of that, and the
menus should now be accessible. That's what I have to do.
Thanks a lot.
