High David,
I have and use the same phone that you had.
I am long over do for an up grade, but I am very skeptical about which phone
to get.
I am with the same carrier that you're with, but they tell me that they
don't know of a phone that does the same things that this one does.
So I'm watching
Hi all,
Can anyone tell me of any computer program(s) which can be used to speed
up or slow down an mp3? Also, for any program mentioned, can you tell me
whether or not that program changes the pitch of the mp3? I know that
this is perhaps not what people are usually looking for, but I am looking
Hi,
Same here and I am up in december for upgrade and my contract is over. Not
sure what I'll do then as my 4650 works well for what I need it for.

I don't have any problems rewinding through a track with the Zen Stone.
Are you sure you're holding the rewind button down long enough? It'll
rewind about 5 seconds, play about a second, rewind about 5 seconds and
so on, so it may sound like it's advancing through the track, when
really it's
TerriLynne,
Goldwave will let you increase or decrease playback speed
withoutt altering the pitch. It would be the same as
changing the speed of a cassette player without pitch
control. I am not a Goldwave expert but others on this list
are and perhaps they can give you more details.
Tom
Hi Tom,
So, as I understand you, with GoldWave, the pitch does not change when
you increase the speed. If I am understanding you correctly, is there a
program which does increase the pitch as the speed is increased?
Thanks much,
TerriLynne

Hi TerriLynne,
If you double the playback speed of an MP3 file using
Goldwave the pitch will be doubled too. You can adjust the
speed either for the playback control which is space bar or
F4 or you can adjust the fast forward speed when using the
fast forward key which is F7. I think you
Can anyone recommend any sites that work well with JAWS for purchasing and
downloading music? I tried to download Itunes, but it would not install, and
I'm not sure how well it will work with JAWS. I've tried Rhapsody, but I'd
like something that I could buy per song and not have to pay a
You could try www.musicgiants.com they don't have a lot of variety, but it
is easy to get around. The music is the best quality anywhere!

Hi everyone. Next Saturday, Comcast is coming out here to install
digital cable and I will have a box on my mom's TV since she watches
more TV than I do. I didn't want to spend the money to upgrade all
the TVs in the house and was hoping to use Slingbox to get digital
cable on my PC, but I
I have an LG dvd burner. I've made data dvds on it successfully, it plays
commercial cds, too. Every time I put in commercial or homebrew dvds, whether
trying to play through WMP or Nero, all I get is the picture without sound. Is
that a dead drive as a friend thinks?
Suggestions welcome.
I like Napster and www.emusic.com
The Napster client can be a little tricky, but if you have at least
Jaws 8 and a little patience it can be done. You may also get some
nag screens with Napster about moving to the subscriber level but I
personally like being a Napster Light member where there
Thanks. I have JAWS 5, so I'll have to try it and see how it works. Do they
have a pretty wide selection?
