Could you eventually give a description of the physical properties of the
phone? How about bottons and markings for accessibility and so on?

I assume these devices are available outside Australia given that you
get a world wide Gigaset VOIP account when you purchase one of these
devices.
Be warned, some of the Gigaset phones have touch screens, the C610 or
C610A are devices that do not.

I recently upgraded total recorder standard to the videopro edition. I have

No speaking functions whatever and I don’t think any of the Gigaset range have
that sort of thing and I didn’t buy the handset for talking this and that, I
wanted a reliable VOIP phone which was easy to use and was configurable to
allow me to take full advantage of all the services and

No the phone won’t tell you as the call comes in through speech but there are
ways of going through a web interface on your computer so you can find out what
those numbers are in a log, you can then block them or assign different ring
tones as desired.
