Hi Everyone
Hi Everyone,
Part 8 of my GoldWave series is now ready for download. It's shorter than the
other parts but I think you will find it useful still. I talk about fixing the
problem people have been reporting with GW 5.22 and 5.23 where they get audio
dings and Jaws doesn't function correctly.
And goldwaves added accesibility features seem to be starting to perhaps
give an advantage to goldwave users now as some are saying SF 9 is getting
some what less accessible in ways.

Hey, Rick, if you had to add to your wonderful description of GW in your
tutorial, with the newer versions how would you describe the differences?

Hi,
http://www.blind-geek-zone.net
look in the programs page under the script section. Be sure to get the
right scripts dependant on the version of GW you are using.

Hi everyone,
I have about 200 cd's that I ripped back in 2003. I didn't know a lot about
ripping audio then and I used a high priced mp3 ripper from Xing labs called
audio cataylist 2.0 . I ripped everything at 160 k bit joint stereo 44.1 khz
sample rate. I'm seriously thinking about re
Where are you going to find audio with a sample rate higher than 192Khz?
If you actually had such a thing I'm assuming it would be down sampled to
192Khz sample rate?

Be aware that many on the victor stream list are reporting audio issues with
the update. The unit buzzes loudly when on A/c and external speakers on A/c
and the unit shuts down. Also some fuzziness of audio is being reported in
the menu voice and while listening to music on the unit.

I'd have to agree. Goldwave is an excellent program for the price. People
are going to bash it and say you must use SF if your going to do
professional stuff. I don't agree. I've gotten pretty good with GW.
I'm no pro but I find it to be an excellent program and well worth the
price. The
incorrect it does have forwarding and reversing. hold down on the right or
left buttons and you will seek forward and backwards through the current
playing file.
