It will play just about everything, but it's mostly for video formats. I
wouldn't recommend it for your audio files as it's just not really
designed with the flexibility to make playlists and such that, Winamp, and
probably foobar as well, has in abundance

The programme works ok with jaws 11 here. You may need to unhide the
interface before you can see anything though. I still prefer Winamp for
audio but VLC is really the only go-to for video file formats as it plays
