Well, a quick search with Yahoo! says that the Zen Stone doesn't support lossless formats. It does look like Windows Media Player, and maybe Creative Media Lite, automatically converts lossless formats into a lossy file format when copying the files to the Zen Stone. Jerry Richer wrote:

You really don't need any software or JAWS scripts to use the zen stone, in fact I really don't understand why people think this is necessary. If you have the one gig model, there is absolutely no need for any additional software. Simply use the USB cable to charge the unit when plugging it

How easy to use is the 2gig zenstone player, and does it have the resume feature. The 1 gig doesn't seem to be available around here any more, and my sons have promised me the 2 gig for Christmas. I only want it, though, if it has the resume feature, and if it is reasonably easy to use

hi. If you have a little bit of usable vision, as I do, the scripts aren't even necessary, because an orange light flashes while the zen stone is charging, and a green light stays on after it's charged. I fully realize that a good portion of the people out there who are on this list probably
