But with lossless files, I don't hear that noise.
If the creative Zenstone can play WMA lossless files, then I'm sold on it.
But if not, then I will have to come up with a plan b as far as small
portable music players go.

Well, a quick search with Yahoo! says that the Zen Stone doesn't support
lossless formats. It does look like Windows Media Player, and maybe
Creative Media Lite, automatically converts lossless formats into a
lossy file format when copying the files to the Zen Stone.

You really don't need any software or JAWS scripts to use the zen
stone, in fact I really don't understand why people think this is
necessary. If you have the one gig model, there is absolutely no
need for any additional software. Simply use the USB cable to charge
the unit when plugging it
You'll find them on the Creative labs site. Look under media players and
then Zen Stone.

How easy to use is the 2gig zenstone player, and does it have the resume
feature. The 1 gig doesn't seem to be available around here any more, and
my sons have promised me the 2 gig for Christmas. I only want it, though,
if it has the resume feature, and if it is reasonably easy to use

aren't even necessary, because an orange light flashes while the zen
stone is charging, and a green light stays on after it's charged. I
