I have Total Recorder 8.2 with JAWS 11 and Windows XP Pro. TR is working fine; recording streams and stuff. However I must have VOX turned on because recording stops on quiet passages. Anyone know how to turn VOX off and record everything? Thanks. Howard

I assume vox is an driver spisific feature? I ask as I don't see it on my side. Probibly you use one of the older drivers wich are working better with xp, so I cannot really comment on that as I'm on windows7 with the latest 8.5 with the curnel filter driver. On 17/11/2014, Howard Traxler

Right so now we know where we're at smile, yes you can do that but you'll need to alter a few settings, some of this has already been addressed. Load your file into Total Recorder first if its a wav, mp3, Flac, or whatever then Total Recorder should be able to handle it. Now from the file menu
