Hi, This is ken.
I finally got mp3-dc to work.
I haven't got the recorder function working, because I probably won't be
using it for recording any way.
I'm just happy that it does what it does.

You might try looking at the fast track pro.
It's not small, but it has midi in and out and coax digital in and out.
It has a mike section and will work with total recorder.
It also works with sound forge.
The u s b is u s b 1 . I don't know why they didn't upgrade it.
That's all
Hay speaking of this one, the M-Audio card you mean right? What happened to
them? I saw on Sweet Water the Fasgt Track Pro 2 and it's no longer 96 KHZ
capable. Only 46 KHZ. They are still 24 bit though.

Hi, I can't find a dm7 at the olympus site.
What you can find is a dm901.
It seems to have the same specs and it records in stereo.
It was pulling hens teeth to find that.
The wi fi thing runs on a Iphone and allows you to trigger your recorder
remotly.
also you can send pictures
. There are stil differences between 901 and dm7. Such as tts for
dm7 vursus human femail speech on the 901. The 901 have know text file
or daisy support, and not as accessible as dm7. The skedular or diary
is not easy to use there as on dm7.

Hello,
Are you sure that the voice was recorded using the same tempo as the music?
Are you sure that the voice begins to sing at exactly the right time in the
music?
How did you mix the voice and the music together?

Well, it sounds to me like you are doing everything correctly. As long as
the voice and music are at the same tempo, and that the voice begins at
precisely the right spot in the music, and that you have pasted the voice
and music together in the way you describe, well ... it should work!
Ken
are at the
same sampling rate.
I know that we are not using the same version of Sound Forge, but I don't
know if that makes a difference or not.
You say that it mixed correctly on another PC. Were you using Sound Forge on
this other PC?

Hi, the two tracks have the same audio properties (format / sampling
rate).
Sorry but I
So, did you get better results on the faster computer, or on the slower one?
My computer is a Pentium 3 600 mhz with 768 MB of ram, so maybe 128 MB of
ram is not enough memory for Sound Forge to do a propper paste mix.

Jim,
You can't disable .sfk creation, but you can get rid of them every time you
close Sound Forge.
From the options menu, go to preferences. Down arrow until you hear keep
temporary files on close. Hit your space bar to uncheck this.
Luck!

So why not uninstall ITunes and let it uninstall Quick Time?
Then reinstall Quick Time?
