will pay extra for the Internet stream.
I'm satisfied listening with my
receivers. I won't go for the extra
steam as it would be redundant.

Well, it's their situation, not ours.
If a subscriber wants to listen on the
Net, then they pay. If not, well,
that's that. The free lunch is long
gone. XM has to defray their costs
somewhere.

Terri is an XM subscriber. She just
cannot get the signal in her apartment.

Hi Teri, I think you have to be an XM
subscriber
What, Jerry? What's a coaster? An
incomplete burned disc? I call 'em dead
discs. Just curious.

I have an older version of Winmx and
never figured out how to use it.
Decided not to re-install that program.
Trying to save as much space on my
system as possible as drive is small.
18 gig is not much. What is this winmx
and how different is that from ftp?
Curious.

OK, now I know. The coasters I have
seen in the past were made of cork or
some other material. Never thought of a
dead CD as one, but I've gotten 20
coasters out of a pack of 100 Imation
discs this month. Bad!

Hi Mimi. If they're unusable
I know what that program does, but never
used it. I download from two ftp sites
all the time now, been doing that for a
couple of months and am having a blast.
Finding some songs I never had before
and some I have not heard in years.
It's incredible.

Gee, that's nice. Our library here, the
braille and talking book one, uses Dell
computers. We can access NLS's books
from them.

That makes sense, Rusty. I'm not
familiar with various components of
computers, but you bet I'm learning. I
guess like anything else, there are
better systems, better sound cards,
better drives, etc. I guess it's true.

Rusty, I have a little trouble doing
some of the math on this: OK, my hard
drive is 18.6 gig. That means 18,000
meg. More than that, I know. Is that
correct?
If I got a new computer with an 80 gig
drive than that means 80,000 mb?
