Dave, It would be nice if we get someone with current information, but I can provide a little. Starting with version 3 of Adobe Audition, they began displaying some data on the screen using a method that is generally not picked up by screen readers. I used Audition a lot before that version

Hello. try http://www.kulgan.net/jfwaudition/ but you will need to compile sme files and edit the default.jss file for adobe 1.5 to work. I might have a self extracting exe file someware where I wrote a little instruction txt file on how to edit the default.jss file so adobe and jaws will work
