Hi List and LibPD developers !
Testing an iOS app with LibPD we get: unknown audio API specified
Is it a PD patch problem or xCode ? or what can it be ? the Pd-patch works well
in Vanilla.

anyone else having GUI trouble seeing sliders and number boxes move/change

just currious, is all the work jonathon wilkes been doing on the pd
gui stuff (search, preferences, etc) on OSX expected to be a part of
Pd Vanilla?
Most likely, you haven't specified the dummy audio api via compiler defines.
See https://github.com/libpd/libpd/wiki/libpd#build-settings

Hello,
The answer about v4l2 driver for xiQ camera from Ximea :
Dear Mr.Jack,
Based on information of our linux implementation specialist we are not
planning implementation of v4l2 because it is quite complicated task and
there are no big potential from current customers.
Probably gstreamer
Here are some (rough) demo builds:
http://puredata.info/search?SearchableText=pd+with+prefs
Just click on the pd-with-prefs file with your platform name in it.
For GNU/Linux:
1) Locate the main directory that contains src tcl etc.
2) Run ./pd
OSX:
Unzip and click the Pd app
Windows:
1) Locate
The code looks good - unfortunately, in these cases I'm usually suspicious that
somewhere else in the code something is causing memory corruption. If you
can get to a linux machine you can try the wonderful 'valgrind' program that
is very god for tracking down bad memory references in C code.
hi list,
does anyone has experience or tips to patch a realistc motorsound for
racing game prototyping?
i wants to experiment with some motorsound loops to create some real engine
noise...

Check Andy Farnell's website
http://obiwannabe.co.uk/html/sound-design/sound-design-audio.html
He's got quite some examples there.

Hello
I am wondering and hoping someone else has got one of these Korg Monotribes.
I have mod-ed mine with the USBtribe http://www.usbtri.be/
I am having a little bit of fun sending random values on channel 1 CC# 1, 7,
11, 16, 17, 80, 81 82 and 83 effectively glitching out the Synth portion.
I haven't looked at it yet (altought it sounds like a Good Thing) and anyway
I would want to talk with Jonathan first and not just assume it's cool to glom
a bunch of his code. There's a downside - once something's sitting in vanilla
it's much harder to change than it is out there in extended.
