Very, very nice. Are those people really not bothered by being near
Hi Andre,
You can go the Pentax.de site and download that version. I did recently.
If you have a problem, email me off list and I will supply you with a copy.
Cheers,

I have had a similar problem.
My wife only uses AOL. (My fault - that is what I started her on, now
she is used to it.)
When she travels, she cannot send me an email whether to my AOL or
this account or any other. Unless she uses AOL webmail. She has no
problem sending to anyone else,
I have photographed my Stanley measuring device with a
Pentax K10D and a Tamron SP 2.5/90mm lens - at closest possible focusing
distance; 0.39 m. Is this macro?

Maybe not. My sensor is 23.5mm. This image covers appr. 47mm. This means

A beautiful spring day in Michigan. My tulips are popping out all

Macro is in the 1:2 to 1:1 range. Your Tamron does 1:2 (half life-size)
without the dedicated extension tube.
Microphotography is greater than 1:1 magnification. But that generally
requires bellows or a reverse mounted lens on a macro lens rather than
just a macro lens.

Speaking of shooting birds, this one looks like a BB just got him/her
in the breast.
Really difficult to get both ends of a bird in focus. Either one or
both ends invariably protrude from the field.

Looks like you got down to knee level for this one. Nothing not to like.

Remember that the K10D's 1.10 update incited second curtain sync and
possibly wireless remote flash issues.
I have v1.20 installed now. Some folks on DPReview have reported
reduced noise with it.

Macro is arbitrary. It's a photograph. Does it matter what you call
it?

Thanks Joe. Almost passed this one up in reviewing the days shoot.

Looks like
It's reasonable to consider reproduction ratios in approximately the
1:4 to 2:1 range as macro despite more specific definitions for
photomacography and microphotography.
Most lenses marked as Macro achieve 1:4 to 1:2 magnification ratio
without additional equipment. Some go to 1:1. For
