the shutter. If the exposure time is short or the panning slow it
results in a "normal" blurred picture.

I agree. Canon just has brand equity and store placement. They're in
the media and on the shelves. Pentax can't compete there, but Pentax
can offer very good product at a good price and take a nice piece of
the pie. You don't have to be a volume leader to be successful.

Finally some Pentax content. That said I really hope it's the Canon
1.3x crop format, and not a real APS-H format. Just because Canon calls
their 1.3x crop cameras APS-H doesn't make it so.
Canon 1.3x crop sensor ~ 3:2 aspect ratio ~ (27mm x 18mm)
APS-H = 16:9 = 30.2mm x 16.7mm.

I still seem to have problems with the picture package software,
espesially the two 5x7
The first shot, and the two statue shots are my fav's.
