My preference is a normal bicycle. But then I'm a cyclist.
These guys obviously want to appeal to non-cycists. They wanted it to look like
a little car. If they really wanted aerodynamics they could have done it
cheaper and more aerodynamically:

They definitely need to address the (lack of) cargo areas. Even an outside rack
on the back would be something. Baskets, panniers, something is needed.

I suspect that on flat ground, the improved aerodynamics would make up
for the excess weight. Plus it might be more comfortable in the rain.

Thanks, Ken - I can't take credit for the timing as I just shot gunned
it and shot several blasts in burst mode. Used TAV with a high shutter

Thanks, Darren! Couldn't avoid the Gordon Lightfoot reference since
there was more than the usual buzz about the anniversary of the Edmund

year's first real gale is about the same time of year when the the ship
sank.
Quite ingenious!

Thanks John. I don't intend to go nuts with equipment and I'll start off
small.
I use Bridge instead of lightroom, but I have mine organized almost that
way. I let Bridge do the import & it automagically creates folders by
date and sorts the images into them. All I usually have to do is add a
descriptor to the folder name. "MMDD" becomes "MMDD-descriptor".

I lived with a 28, 50 and 150 for a long time, using 35mm film, and the
20-35mm covers two of those and everything in between, on APS-C
digital. It also produces lovely images so for me it's close to
perfect, though I do miss having an ultra wide option.

I just figured you and some others here might find it interesting.
It has a dual chain drive setup & I think they said the drive wheel is
free-wheeling. One chain is driven by pedal power and the other is
driven by an electric motor mounted on the frame under the seat. I don't
