Yep - that's the generally accepted name. "Infantigo" appears to be a US-specific corruption. My younger brother had a very nasty case of this when he was perhaps two. It wasn't responding to the normal treatment (Gentian Violet, in those days), so our doctor decided to try a new antibiotic
