Nice images - II have some similar ones. I've spent some time in these islands
over the last 20 years and enjoyed
surprisingly good IMO. Yes, the edges are a
bit soft wide open, but Miyazaki-san sure gets the most out of 6 optical
surfaces, and the lens is about as tiny as it can be.

#69 is one of your best yet in the Communicating series.
Di you intentionally cut off the top of the guy to the right's head? I think
it might be a better image if his entire head was included, but of course I
don't have that version of the image to look at - maybe it works better
wide angle
lenses but the Hektor 135 is probably worth $100-150. If pressed I'd guess
that the two wides are worth a bit more than that.
If you don't use FleaBay I'd suggest listing them at RangefinderForum.com and
GetDPI.com, as many Leicaphiles hang out there.

Enjoy your new K-5 - it's the nicest camera Pentax has made yet. Ergonomics
are somewhat personal. but IMO the K-5/K-7 have the best ergos of any camera

Ken, I liked the sloped top deck but couldn't never get comfortable with that
big wheel/LCD used to set the shutter speed - mine was very stiff and hard to
rotate. On the
MZ-S; it can record this info on the negative outside of the
image area. Of course, a notebook and pens are a bit less expensive!

scratched the new screen I was trying to install when I applied too much force
trying to re-latch the frame. Stupid on several levels...
Anyway, Pentax/CRIS is making me whole at no expense other than for the new

I think Samsung Corporation owns Schneider, or owns the Schneider
brand name. I'd think whoever made the Schneider D-Xenon and D-
Xenogon lenses for them can provide whatever they need for this mount.

I especially like Reach - reminds me of a Japanese painting.
I agree with Frank. Reach has a certain calligraphic character to
