G'day All.
I have just acquired a used Pentax Z-1.
I am looking for comments from people that have used this model as to
the pro's con's of it.
Is there a battery grip for the Z-1 ?
Also, comments please on how it compares to the ZX-L and to the SFXn.
The lenses to be used are the run of the
poor PZ-1p sits for months
on
end without use until I feed it a roll from time to time. It now feels
largish when compared to the *ist D.
If you wanted an AF film camera, you got a good one. Metering was
always
great and AF performed up to my expectations.

I have no idea as to what the lenses are.
Thanks.

I don't know the lenses are. I haven't seen them as my mate lives in
Ulladulla which is about 9 hours from me.
He is going to bring them up in a month or so.
I'll give you a Cooee when they arrive.

I was going to comment
G'day Kostas.
I have been using this lens on a SFXn for the last month.
I have found it to be great for indoors with the popup flash or the

Images are sharp. Focusing is quick.
The only drawback is that is has a long minimum focus distance. But
Macro is useful.

I have a similar lens.
It is a TAKUMAR-F ZOOM 70-200 4-5.6
I wonder what the difference is between the TAKUMAR and the PENTAX?

Any idea where to find an FDP grip? Seems hard to find on
G'day Joe.
Yep, You are right about the neck strap attachment.
However, I have attached the neck strap to the lower attachment point of
the grip F using a strap with Dogclip type fittings. This allows the
SFXn to be carried either way.

Has anyone heard of the Pentax Grip Strap F?
I picked one up from an Ebayer in Holland along with a AA battery grip

The Grip Strap F completely changes the handling of the SFXn.
