Mark - have you ever tried TRi-x developed in Microdol X- 1:3 at 75
degrees F? - I read about that back in the late 70's
and once I tried it Ikept it- it was a nice grain reducer ..

Microdol X 1:3 actually was my go to developer for 35mm Tri-X in the
past. I thought it was beautiful with the somewhat more grainy pre-2004
formulation of Tri-X in 35mm. At the time I was only using 35mm and the
Microdol-X made a subtle but noticeable reduction in the grain that
Tri-X my favorite film decades ago. Nothings renders BW like TriX.
