Mike, Minus 25 degrees C? Who picked that time to vacation in Prague? And I thought Europe was warm! Nobody goes out when it's that cold around here, unless it's to sit on a frozen lake and ice fish. (Of course, mass quantities of beer are consumed as antifreeze during these adventures...)

Others will no dounbt have given you some advice but, particularly for Prague, watch out for the cathedral if you visit it. When I first went, this massive building had been sitting for two weeks in minus25 degree temperatures. The day before I arrived, it warmed up to about freezing.

Keep camera and lenses in a shoulder bag. It will act as a thermal buffer. Keep them in the bag unless you're using them. When you go indoors, let the bag sit a few minutes before opening it, particularly if it is humid indoors or if outside temperatures are sub-zero or it was very wet.
