The ME Super can operate without batteries at 1/125, 1/2000 and B exposure settings, so it's worth considering over the Super A if you're heading off into the wilderness for a while. It's the camera I took on my last mountaineering expedition, and will probably take on any others I may do.

In my discussion of whether the MZ-S might be considered the FA limited camera, somebody suggested that my preferences might be well served by a PZ-1p. So, I looked at Boz's site and damned if I don't actually LIKE the PZ-1P, at least based on what he's got about it. The specs are better
