Alan, you do keep your important stuff on Flickr as well. Also for me Flickr is the main cloud storage having over 8000 pics at full res in jpg, with a lot of family pics hidden. Further I keep my scanned old familiy pics on onedrive 1 TB cloud storage. All my RAW files are stored on a 6TB USB

I'm happily smugmug - the $200 a year is worth it... for me it is my place to sell photos but I do load things just for backup too.  The sales are low these days and they never were much, but as the article pointed out they leave your pages set the way you set 'em.  I just wish I had loaded
