Just like the gauntlet I have to run these days to buy Sudafed for my allergies! The word Sudafed is derived from 'pseudo ephedrine' - it's a man-made version of ephedrine. Ephedra was the stimulant of choice (alongside poppies and hemp) for the ancient Indo-Europeans, and is thought to have

I am debating the idea that fences might fit nicely in my series theme. Collage/montage type of thing. Anyway, have a lot to shoot the next two weeks and I may explore fences a bit. I found this slightly amusing. Does it do anything for anyone?

So on a long summer's evening, when the torchlight procession is under way, and you're lucky enough this year to be outside the wicker man, what kind of exposure do you think is best to catch the firebrands against the evening sky, while still being able to make out details of the snaggle-toothed

No flash. Take a spotmeter reading of the street or a walker's neutral colored clothing and go about a half stop under. If possible, you can spotmeter the torch flame and shoot about three stops under (placing it at zone 8). Paul -- Original message -- From: Bob
