I enjoyed that gallery, Dave. It's impressive they have been able to
keep that beautiful engine going for so long. A shame if they can't
keep going.

Thanks, Alan.
Actually none of these are municipal territory; they are either on our
block or on the university campus (this set entirely the latter).

Excellent set Larry!
I especially like the images where you caught them flying away from the
nest.

take photos and videos of the old steam engine at South Simcoe
Raiilway/ The old girl is over a 100 years old and the boiler needs
restoration , money they just don't have so this may be it for ol 136.
Larry, it doesn't truly work with autofocus lenses you get the same
limitations with them as when using K M and A lenses, but the AF 1.7x
works very well as a teleconverter, better than just cropping, anyway.
I think they're still part of the Pentax system available in Japan.
They
Very nice gallery that captures not only some great rail equipment, but
also a feeling for the place and the event.

Excellent set. You really captured the majesty of that old steam engine.

Went out early to avoid the promised 100F forecast for today.
Background is water. Don't know the plant variety.
C?
Thanks.
Usual 150-450 etc.

Cool gallery, Dave. She looks well worth a national appeal. However, even as
a non-runner she deserves a place in a historical museum.

An especially nice capture of the duck on the left side.
BTW, you have some dust spots on your lens in the ULH corner.

Dave, if you just open the video and view it so you're not in 'editing'
mode, then copy the URL into the email, we can see it ;-)

I went to a dance workshop in Oakland this weekend. I think I got a few
keepers out of it.
This one strikes me as a rather Alpertian composition:

More compositionally interesting,
I tried a CPC 2x & a Vivitar MC 2x - both disappointing with digital yet
they seemed OK in film days. The Pentax F 1.7x AF adapter, on the other
hand, is quite good if used with a decent lens. Having said that, some tests
I did showed little difference between cropped & TC images.
