results with Kodak 800 color print film scanned with my Scanwit 2720s at
9mp from 35mm film with pretty much any coke bottle bottom I mounted on
a Pentax camera. With a good lens much much better, I could easily get

Beautiful! Well composed and artfully rendered.

Jos, that is a beautiful shot. It’s really nicely balanced, with the windmill,
moon, and house; and the white house sets off the colors of the other objects.
What is the orange rectangle below and to the left of the house’s chimney? One
could clone it out.

It was nearing dusk, so the colors are slightly strange.

I agree.. really nice set - keepers all... but you know me, I have to be
a little bit picky.
to wit: I think the chair & bridge shot would be stronger in black and
white.. it would emphasize the forms more.I would have shot that in the
film days with tri-x and an orange filter.

Thanks, Ann, and thanks to everyone else who took a look. I don't
usually shoot birds these days but enjoy it when the opportunity arises.

Very nice set. I particularly like Thor's Well (93376) although I might
have chosen 93720, which I think is a better representation of the
phenomenon. Also like 92406 - the redundancy of the curve of the arms
on the chair and the curve of the suspension bridge is very creative.

Once I get the K5-IIs, I'll just switch over to the dng format for good.
I'm not sure which interface will launch when I open the dng files in cs2
though, acr or irfanview, well see.
