I don't think so - it's non-toxic. It will choke you if you breathe
it instead of regular air, but the same is true of pure nitrogen.

re poisonous - um -- methane certainly falls under that category.. but
glad it isn't chemical dumping .
There are places in western Canada where the methane is so noxious there
are signs along the Alcan warning

travelers to not stop - not that one would , as the smell was intense...

@Ann the foam isn't poisonous or chemical pollution. Most likely

No need.

This video has taught me how to do it:

The brush I'm using is a goat hair brush available on Amazon as a
replacement for the "Okki Nokki" record washing machine. Costs about 14
euros on Amazon. As a liquid, I use 9 parts demineralised water (sold in
supermarkets for ironing), one part isopropyl alcohol and one (!) drop
of dishwasher liquid. For drying use ordinary kitchen paper towels as
shown in the video.

Works perfectly well here. There's a record shop just across the street
and their super duper machine doesn't clean any better. But they charge
1,50 euro per record.

And of course, how many backup files are no longer accessible because either the creation

I play them on my computer and use a program called Audacity to "rip"
them while listening.

The CDs then get stored where I won't mess them up handling them.

Someday I might do the same for my old LPs. There's an audiophile shop

than new condition, so I could play them one more time and get clean

The cost is $5/disk, so I won't be doing it all at once.

I buy most of my music on second-hand cds from German ebay dealer

Once they arrive, I rip them and store them as uncompressed alac files
