Here's another vote for the Spyder.  I've been using the Datacolor calibrators on Windows marhines though several iterations beginning with the Spyder 2, and now the Spyder X Pro.  All have proven worthy of spot-on calibration.  Amazon is showing the Spyder X Pro for $150. -p On 8/24/2022

You can be pretty sure Spyder will have the right drivers for your new Mac. I’ve been through four mac computers since I bought my first Spyder about 20 years ago. No software problems I render photos for publication on a regular basis. The NY Times photo editors have told me my renders are

X-Rite is the gold standard for monitor calibration. Frankly, it's not their fault that Apple breaks shit every time they release an update. I've been using the same Eye1 since Windows XP. I'm now on Win 10 using the same software as I started with. I'd be feeling not fond of Apple for fucking

It’s a long story, but I recently bought a new MacBook Pro and external monitor as “work” computers. The colors are ugly, though, and I’d like to calibrate both devices. The problem is that my calibrator is an Xrite i1 Display, which is old enough that there is no longer software available.

Thanks. This is plain, old Oslo. Several shots are from recently developed areas. I'm not sure it qualifies as a Metropolis, really, but I was looking for that "theme" at least in part, seeing as it's also the marketing name of the film. :-) - Toralf On 24/08/2022 21:09, Daniel J. Matyola

I was expecting something more along the lines of Fritz Lang. What is the ‘special’ film you used? I have been taking B film photos lately, mainly Ilford FP-4, but I have bought five rolls of Ferrania P30 which promises interesting things. Now I have to find a suitably neo-realist set of

Quite interesting and well done! In what city were these images taken? For someone like me, living in the shadow of New York, that may not fit the usual preconception of a Metropolis, but it certainly looks like a pleasant place to stroll and explore. Dan Matyola
