I disagree, i think you can and should compare the digital sensor size
with other formats. Its often a neccesary so as to descide which tool to
use for a job.

I upgraded from a ist*DS to the K10D and actually kind of regret it now.
I think i preferred the ergonomics and size of the DS. Sure the files
are better from the K10D, but its a lot bigger and heavier to lug around.

Shooting in Manual mode, meter is set to Centre Weighted.
AE-L with AF locked is set to 1, but i have tried setting it to 2.
Exposure does seem to jump around on the same scene.
The meter just seems to totally inaccurate, always underexposing.
