: Cokin ND grads and K mount wide angles
Can you use a Cokin style P-series filter mount on the Pentax
K-mount 20mm
and 24mm without noticeable vignetting? (I'm thinking of a modified
mount
with the outer filter holders shaved off)
thanks

If you cut/saw the second filter slot (the one furtherst from the lens) off
the holder you can decrease the chance of vignetting. I experimented with
this one time because I had to take some photos with the Cokin filter mounted
on a fairly thick circular filter which was in turn on a Tokina

You'll have to test for it, but it's probably ok. I use it on the
20-35/4 all the time
The Pentax 20 mm has a 67 mm filter size. The Cokin P series take up to
82 mm rings and the filter itself is 86 mm wide. It would seem to me
that you should have no problem using the P series with those lenses.
Cheers, Mike.
