Thanks.  I'm in the process of figuring out which brakepads to use. 
Although a friend might have some WRX disks and calipers he can give me.


My friend Ed and I put many miles on one very similar to that. It was used to 
tow the land sailer, the munitions required for high-end rocketry, camping 
gear, etc all over the northwestern deserts of Nevada and eastern Oregon. I 
think that was before they became the darling of the lesbian set.

There's so much in this post that I've always suspected...

Anyway how could I hate on a Subaru, when I'm driving a Chrysler 
Sebring, with the golden alloy's and everything, fit for a pimp, when it 
was new.  It's not the car I really wanted it was the car that I could 
afford when my SAAB 900se decided to throw a rod.  On the other hand it 
is a convertible, though the demographic of "chicks"* I could reasonably 
pick up with it means I'll be sleeping alone a lot.


*Scare quotes for more reasons than I usually like to think about.
