The wedge shaped sheen of the dark block above left is almost lost
in the BW version.
I little lift(!) to recover more of that might make the BW even

and black , actually. I couldnt see any detail in it at all, although
when I went to use the magic wand in elements apparently the program did
as it selected two sections of the black mass.
