I don't know. I think we're spoiled. Sure small sensor cameras lack
dynamic range, when compared to larger formats, but compare any format
larger than 1" to 35mm slide film. Even 35mm reversal film didn't have
13+ stops of dynamic range.

Very nice gallery this time.
I actually had a few photos that would have fit the theme, but they were

There you do with logic and reason. You know Kodak* owns the trademark
on Kodachrome. I wouldn't put it past them to formulate an E6 reversal
film to look kinda like Kodachrome and sell that instead...

I still have several Kodachrome 64 cartridges for my Pentax Auto 110
lurking in the back of my freezer. It would be nice to be able to use
them & free up some room back there.
Kodak used to have a technical data sheet for the K-14 process on their

Interesting collection!

Jeez, I enjoy the PUG! Thanks Brian, and everyone who submitted.
My favorites this month are Annsan's (texture, composition, some
irony), Marco's (great composition and rendering, and a pun!) and
Malcolm's (I'm always a sucker for interesting geometry).

Your photos which give an overview of the grandeur & workmanship led me to
research the monastery - quite amazing. There can't be many as beautiful and
it is still a place of worship in spite of the hordes of visitors. Imagine
the cost of building such a place today.

For demosaicing(sp???) to work, the firmware has to take into account
the color filters over each photosite. If you could remover the Bayer
filter, (which I think is impossible, based on my knowledge of how it's
applied), the camera would need completely rewritten firmware, possibly
even new

Nope, it's a New Haven Elevator Co. product, actually installed in New

Not interested in the K1 but the FD-2 and Grip A would go some way towards
completing my LX set.
