Yes, I thought that was interesting, especially those big 3x5 inch
speakers. After thinking about it I realize the electronics are probably
the same as in the portable TV's, only the box is bigger.

I think it says assembled in Greenville SC. The cabinets supposedly were
made here in NC. I imagine the electronics came from Japan or Korea.

Maybe not, there were still electronics and tube manufactures in the US
at that time IIRC. Still are chip makers here, doesn't really matter
where those are grown.
