I think it is the cephalothorax of a Dysderid. These spiders eat sow bugs and their relatives so are an indicator of a moisture and/or access problem nearby. They have big fangs and are are often a bright chestnut red when alive and dry to a more brown color. They have a soft, smooth abdomen
