if you are building a blat back, you can pickup old graphlok roll film
adapters. These will either do 2x2 or 2x3. the ones from the 3 1/4 x 4 1/4
graphic are the least popular shouldn't be a ton of $$...Ebay always seems
to have some.

If you use only one slit, the image is very diffused and will be greatly
stretched in the same direction as the slit, it is actually a great process.
