Has anybody managed to get LMS working well within Home Assistant? I've
been trying the Webpage Card Configuration and it can display the
Material Skin but Artists/Albums/Genres pages are all blank but the New
Music page works!!?!
Are there better ways of integrating LMS?

If you are creating filters using the Windows MIP version 1.96b then you
can't copy that m3lib file to Linux and preserve the filters as far as I
know, as the Windows version 1.96 had a difference cache structure to
the Linux release.
If you use the Windows MIP 1.8.1b version I understand it

Just to add to what 33squeezebox_Fan mentioned, reading the patents a
while back MIP fingerprints by taking the source file and converting it
to a wav file before it does it's analysis. Therefore if you have
issues they are likely in that conversion step, maybe timeouts, beyond
the capabilities

You can use "MusicIP Vintage Mode" setting, if you want multiple tracks
loaded rather than one by one, its towards the bottom of the LMS GUI ->

This is resolved, was due to selecting a track but then pressing Automix
which builds a new mix from the pre-selected filter/genre specified in
the Player's Automix settings.

and not under the player menu as they are not player specific.

I've just rolled v5.00 beta which has a new interface layout which
should make it less confusing.
I recommend selecting -> Dynamic Queuing
NOT selecting -> MusicIP Vintage Mode
The rest of the settings are personal taste :)

Please find Version 0.3, I've removed the resource heavy datagrid and
improved the scanning its now 24% faster :) I successfully scanned 30k
tracks using a low powered 1.6ghz (WEI 3.9 rating) it did take a few
hours though :)

If it's open source, can you install Android Studio and download the
source and then build it. Then take the resulting APK file, copy it to
your phone and then install it?
If you want to publish it on Google Play you will need to pay about £15
for a licence.

soon. This adds logging of the file copy process and is saved in the
root of the phone, note that it also saves the username/pwd.
Annoyingly everything seems to work fine on my phone and I don't have a

DIRECTORY_MUSIC. This was pushed to the store lastnight so should be

recently been looking at how I can take it further and specifically how
to use MusicIP on my phone, so obviously installing MusicIP on Android
isn't possible. So instead I learnt Java and wrote an Android app to

Tab and it shows the location of the Preference Folder.
Copy if over to the new machine to; C:\ProgramData\Squeezebox\prefs
I would rescan from scratch though rather than copy the old database

Check the tags of the files and remove any that are extraneous to

For mp3 files stick with frames that are only idv2.3 which work better

If MusicAnalysis has not been performed on the track by someone else;
no PUID will be found for the track.
Simple answer dont worry about it, all you need for mixing are the
MUSICMAGICDATA and MUSICMAGICFINGERPRINT tags :)
